Directions

Preferred route avoiding East Looe town centre as this can be difficult to drive through when crowded.

1. Proceeding from Plymouth on A38 go over Tamar Bridge.
2. Continue following signs A38 towards Liskeard (Do not go into Liskeard). 
3. Then follow first signs to Looe by  turning left at Trerulefoot Roundabout (A374). 
4. After around 800metres turn right, there is a signpost for Looe on to A387.
5. After the 1st “welcome to Looe” sign, but before getting into Looe, drive past Looe Bay Holiday Park and Cornish farm shop, then, just past the garden centre, TURN LEFT to Sunrising, Plaidy and Barbican. There is also a brown tourist sign to Barbican Inn here.
6. Proceed through Barbican past the Barbican Inn, shops and schools.
7. TURN RIGHT just before the Spar store (which is on the left!) and proceed down Barbican Hill, sharp turn to the left after 200 meters, do not go down Pendrim Road.
8. Follow road through 6’ width restrictions until you reach crossroads. (It is two way traffic on a narrow lane so you may have to find a passing space if you meet another car.)
9. At crossroads (near bottom), – DO NOT GO DOWN HILL TO BEACH OR TOWN – No Entry sign to right  TURN SHARP LEFT towards coast path, the road looks very narrow but is wider than it looks, and the car park for St Johns Court is 30 meters just up on the left.

Route through East Looe Town Centre

1. From Riverside car park in East Looe proceed along Fore Street, through width restrictions and turn LEFT at The Ship pub and go up Castle Street. 
2. Go straight across at the crossroads (approx 60 meters) Follow signs for the coast path. St. Johns Court is on your left above parking spaces approx 30 meters up hill on the left.
